Christmas Gift Guide: Bookworms

Hey there, my favourite festive elves! As a self confessed book nerd, I’m super excited to put together this gift guide and help you decide what to get your bookworm friends this holiday season.

Books

This seems the most obvious one, but I recommend either asking them for their To Be Read list first, or checking their GoodReads account if you want to be more subtle. It’s best that you get them something they want instead of buying one they won’t read more than two chapters of. If you know what their favourite genres are, you could also check out some BookTok videos for recommendations!

Series Merchandise

If your recipient is obsessed with a popular series, let’s take A Court Of Thorns And Roses for example, you will be able to find great merchandise on sites like Etsy. For example these gorgeous bookmarks by SonnetandFable, or a gorgeous quote print like this one by Stacey McEvoy Caunt, or even some home decor like this Velaris symbol from itsbyZEA!

Candle

I am absolutely obsessed with this idea that seems to have sprung up over the last few years. Basically people have created candles that smell like a fictional place or character. Genius, right? Taking the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter for example, you can get candles that smell like the Sorting Ceremony by WizardingWicksStore, your favourite spells or potions by ApothecaryMoonchild, and even one that smells like Ron Weasley by SmallWorldCandleCo.

Reading Journal

If your recipient is more old school, they might prefer recording their literary thoughts in a reading journal rather than on GoodReads. There are so many brilliant reading journals out there, such as this one from The Literary Gift Company (which I have) and this mini one also from The Literary Gift Company. I also love this one from Literary Emporium because of it’s Jane Austen quote on the cover!

I really hope that I’ve been able to give you some good ideas for Christmas presents this year, do let me know if you like the recommendations!! Merry festive season!

Love,

Amie
