New Christmas Albums For 2020

If you’re like me, then your brain categorises anything past August as Christmas time. I know that technically we still have to get through Halloween before society deems it acceptable to start jingling all the bells, but I do have some good news… The majority of new Christmas music is being released this month!

Here’s a round up of the 2020 Christmas new releases that I’m most excited for…

Dolly Parton’s “A Holly Dolly Christmas” – October 2nd

This is Dolly’s third Christmas album and it does not disappoint! This is the only album on this list that is released as of right now, but it’s definitely a good one to start getting you into the festive spirit.

Runaway June’s “When I Think About Christmas” – October 16th

I’m super excited for this EP, as in 2018 Runaway June released my all time favourite version of “Sleigh Ride”, so I have high hopes for the five more festive tracks! This EP includes two original songs, and hopefully a lot of fiddle instrumental.

Maddie & Tae’s “We Need Christmas” – October 23rd

This 6 track EP includes two original songs, along with some seasonal favourites. I’m most excited to hear the vocals and harmonies they add to “A Holly Jolly Christmas”!

Meghan Trainor’s “A Very Trainor Christmas” – October 30th

We need to talk about this album cover because it’s my level of extra festivity!! As of yet we don’t have a tracklist for this album, but Meghan has said that it will include a mix of originals and classics – so that’s good enough for me!

I’m so excited to listen to all of these new releases, and am planning to film reaction videos to them for my YouTube channel – be sure to subscribe here so that you don’t miss anything. Let me know which album/EP you’re most excited for!

Love,

Amie
