Early Christmas Shopping

There’s one thing we’ve all heard: never go shopping in heels. Then there’s one thing that you might have heard if you watch Christmas movies with a cynic: no one carries already wrapped Christmas presents around when they’re shopping. I decided to ignore both of these and go into the city centre with huge wrapped presents and heels (okay, maybe the heels were a bad idea by the time we finished shooting…)

This is the most preparation I’ve ever done for a Instagram/blog shoot. I found the perfect Christmassy dress specifically for the occasion and spent a looong time looking for the right sized boxes, and the right wrapping paper, not to mention actually wrapping them!

Call me insane, but I like to think of it as festive. If seeing someone embodying the epitome of Christmas doesn’t make you smile, I’m not sure that anything will.

I found this dress on Shein after one of my lovely Instagram followers recommended them to me. It feels like it should be one of those “best kept secrets” but I’m going to share it with all of you because this dress was only £16! I was a little worried about what the quality would be like when it arrived, but it was great. Such good value for money!!

For now I’m going to disappear into Santa’s workshop to finish some more Christmas projects that I’m working on, but I just want to remind you… if in doubt, be festive!!
